A profile is one player's league season, all his clubs together, with 900+ minutes; goalkeepers have none. Seventeen numbers per 90 (shots, xG, goals, chance quality and distance, the box, headers, the action before his shots, assists, key passes, xA, the kind of chances he makes) are compared within the role and season, each weighted by how much it repeats from one season to the next, so what a player keeps counts more than what comes and goes. The score is the share of pairs of profiles in the pool that are further apart.
